Thought I'd try the new player again ....

This time there's no player at all. "You are trying our new player" message appears below an empty box.

I can't return to the "normal" player either; the button to do this is not responding.

Back to Winamp again, then (via the VBR m3u link).

In case anyone cares to fix this, I'm running Windows Vista and Explorer's latest version (please don't tell me I should be using Apple - everything else works just fine!).

I love this place, but the ongoing problems with the players makes it look second-rate.

Any show in particular, or all shows? Do you have the latest version of Flash installed? If it's a specific show, please post a link so we can see if it's something with that show, or that server, or if it's more widespread.

Thanks for responding.

It's happening for all shows, and I'm running the latest version of Flash (actually was running a slightly outdated version before, but the new version and a Windows restart haven't helped).

The problem is still as described above.

Still having problems. Am I alone?

Before, whenever I tried the new player I was able to go back to the old one. Now, however, the new player is not appearing (despite the message "You are trying the new audio/video player"), and the button "return me to the normal player" is inactive.

I tried uninstalling Adobe Flash and reinstalling it; had no effect.

If anyone has any idea what's going on please share it with me! Thanks.

Don't know if this is a solution or not - but I might try installing another browser like Firefox or Safari, and test that. (Personally not a big fan of some Microsoft products.) Good luck...

It's a 32-bit Vista OS, running Internet Explorer 9.0.8112

Thanks for helping. It's bedtime here in the UK but I'll see what replies there are in the morning.

Seems to be working now. Maybe 'cause I deleted my temporary internet files, or maybe I invoked the right saint.

In any case thanks for help.
